Stay the night and take in a show at an intimate Victorian theater.

In the basement of a Victorian mansion that was built in 1910 by George Brumder Sr., lies a small theater featuring the Milwaukee Entertainment Group. The theater can seat up to 55 guests. When viewing a show, the small setting makes the viewer feel as though they are part of the show.

The theater is located inside a bed and breakfast that used to be a Victorian Mansion. This makes it very convenient to make a night of it and have a rest and a show all in the same spot, while soaking up the charming atmosphere.

The theater has a long and colorful past, including the use, at one point in its history, as a speak easy. Due to this colorful past, many of the shows preformed in this theatre are of the murder mystery variety, however that doesn’t stop them from putting on very enjoyable shows of anything else under the sun, like “Twas The Night Before Christmas” and “Hatter Maddness” to name a few. There is always something to enjoy at the mansion, be it a stay at the B&B or an entertaining night of local culture in the theatre.
